Zach is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern who approaches therapy by working collaboratively with clients to build and progress on their treatment goals. His work is guided by a person-centered approach to create an environment where clients feel safe enough to take the lead in their own growth. Zach believes that who we become is deeply shaped by our earliest relationships, and that the patterns and beliefs formed in childhood have a way of showing up long into adulthood. Much of his work focuses on children, adolescents, and the caregivers in their lives, exploring together how early experiences influence the way we feel, relate, and operate in the world. He cares deeply about the bond between young clients and the adults who support them, believing that relationship is often where the most meaningful work happens. Zach currently attends Westminster University and received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Colorado State University.
Zach got into this work because he believes that early support matters and that the right help at the right time can change the direction of a child's life. He is committed to creating an inclusive and inviting space where all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences are welcomed without judgment, and he works hard to make sure that anyone who comes to him feels like they belong."
