Michelle Benson, APRN and Co-Owner

Michelle co-founded Hope & Healing Child and Family Counseling with Becky Lovell Pierce, LCSW in 2015 and now serves as the medical director. Michelle received her BS in Nursing from BYU in 1997, and her Masters in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Utah in 2000. Michelle has spent the last 24 years working with children, adolescents, and their families.

Michelle specializes in psychiatric evaluations and medication management, helping children and adolescents with a variety of mental health concerns. Her extensive experience and dedication make her a trusted advocate for the mental health of young individuals. Michelle’s approach to care is characterized by her specialization in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and her designation as a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner.
