Gillian Trujillo, ACMHC

Gillian Trujillo is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor.  She received her B.A. in Psychology in 2021 from the University of Nevada, Reno, and her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster University in 2025. Prior to her pursuit of a counseling career, Gillian has worked as a case manager for child survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, youth experiencing homelessness, and young adults aged out of foster care.  She has also conducted trauma-informed parenting education in shelter settings.

Gillian practices from an attachment-based psychodynamic lens in tandem with a range of trauma-informed somatosensory interventions.  This holistic approach strives to promote client introspection, felt safety, and a more deeply integrated sense of self.   She additionally seeks to facilitate clients’ explorations of their social and cultural systems for the purpose of fostering supportive connections and strengthening personal values.  She believes the therapeutic relationship is collaborative, and feels deeply privileged to join families in their journeys towards healing.
