Jon Watkins, ACMHC

Jon Watkins is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Counseling at Oregon State University.

Jon works primarily with children, adolescents, and families, with a particular interest in supporting youth who have experienced foster care, adoption, trauma, and disruptions in attachment. His therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, attachment-based, and cognitive perspectives. Jon believes that early relationships and experiences can shape the ways people understand themselves, others, and the world around them. Through therapy, he helps clients explore these patterns, better understand their emotions and experiences, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Outside of the office, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hanging out with the family dog, and continuing his never-ending quest to perfect his BBQ techniques.
