Carolina Estrada (she/her), also known as Caro, is a bilingual (Spanish/English) intern at Hope and Healing while completing her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Florida International University.
Caro approaches counseling from a person-centered perspective, offering a compassionate and supportive environment where clients are empowered to lead their sessions. She believes that individuals have the inner ability to grow and heal and works collaboratively to help them align with what makes them feel whole. Her clinical work is also informed by attachment theory and family systems theory, which guide her understanding of relational patterns and emotional development.
Caro is deeply passionate about working with youth and their families, with a focus on strengthening relationships and fostering authentic connection. She values each client’s unique identity and lived experiences, ensuring her care is culturally responsive and affirming. In her free time, Caro enjoys spending time in nature, cooking, and reading.
