Christian Ruske is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor who began working at Hope & Healing in May 2019. He holds an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Westminster College and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Utah.
Christian has experience in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric units, intensive outpatient work, and acute hospitalization units. Most of his experience is with children and families, particularly with children aged 2-16 and their parents. Christian draws from attachment theory, psychodynamic principles, and TBRI in his clinical work. Christian is also Level 1 trained in both Theraplay® and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy. He strives for a trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach to treatment.
Christian is a huge cinephile and arts enthusiast. In his spare time, you can find him at a concert, opera, play, or the movies.
